The iBreeze line of CPAP's are now available in the United States
Resvent CPAP's have been in use around the world since 2017. In 2020 the FDA granted Resvent EUA to begin selling in the United States. In July, 2021 Palmetto GBA assigned HCPC codes for Resvent CPAP's, allowing them to be billed to insurances, including Medicare.
Units available in the United States include: the iBreeze 20A Auto CPAP, 25STA Auto BiPAP ST, and the 30STA Auto BiPAP SV.
The iBreeze series of CPAP's have a broad range of capabilities designed to help patient compliance to therapy. Intelligent Pressure release, lowers exhalation pressure, Ramp eases a patient into higher pressure settings and the Humidification system continuously senses the environment temperature and humidity, and will adjust the system to an optimum level, so as to avoid tubing and mask condensation. The heated humidifier also has a sensor to detect low water and shuts off the heating element to avoid damage.
